Responsibilities:
Charlie joined SFE in 2001 as Chief Investment Officer and institutionalized SFE’s core investment framework which is underpinned by our Merit Monitor.  Charlie was early in the socially responsible / sustainable investing movement and created the firm’s Pathways strategy.  He is currently Co-Chief Investment Officer, co-chairs our investment committee and, along with Jim Moylan, co-manages SFE’s investment strategies and reviews client accounts on a regular basis with each client manager. Charlie is an SFE shareholder.

About Charlie:
Charlie is the son of a prominent US diplomat who spent his childhood in Russia, France and the Philippines. Prior to joining SFE in 2001, Charlie worked in a variety of corporate settings, including banking and international finance. Charlie was admitted to the Bar in California, Minnesota, and the District of Columbia. He serves as treasurer of the non-profit Antaeus Theatre Company.
